John,

Try re bleeding the clutch system. It can be a chore to bleed completely. This past winter I fixed an issue very similar to what you described, by bleeding. The clutch would only disengage about a millimetre :) back from full pedal. This was on an 85 Doka.

Your problem is most likely the bracket for the slave cylinder is moving on the bell housing due to the mounting area being corroded. Kinda hard to fix without finding a good used bell housing or one of my rebuilt bell housings: <http://www.frankcondelli.com/staging1/store/index.php?route=product/product&path=61_112_120&product_id=1005> > > >> On Apr 1, 2016, at 11:00 PM, Automatic digest processor <LISTSERV@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> wrote: >> >> I have a newly installed clutch, but the throw is not right.
