Bracket mount points with what is likely dried road salt:

http://tinyurl.com/zx7whns The shoulder at each mount point is worn down at least 1/8".

Using my smaller Pitmann arm puller to pull clutch lever: http://tinyurl.com/hovkmud inspected the clutch operating bushings. Shoulder where lock screw sits is worn. Image: http://tinyurl.com/gq9lt2m A disappointment.

A fellow list member had given me a decent clutch housing but it's missing the oil slinger. I may keep the clutch housing as-is but then I know that inspecting the oil slinger is prudent.

I may shape a piece of mild steel to each shoulder and epoxy those on, file them to shape, but building up each shoulder with epoxy may suffice. We'll see.
