Corrosion didn't look bad initially (I cleaned the greezy dirt from
the vent hole) Image:

Bracket mount points with what is likely dried road salt:

down at least 1/8".

Using my smaller Pitmann arm puller to pull clutch lever:

inspected the clutch operating bushings. Shoulder where lock screw

A disappointment.

A fellow list member had given me a decent clutch housing but it's
missing the oil slinger.
I may keep the clutch housing as-is but then I know that inspecting
the oil slinger is
prudent.

I may shape a piece of mild steel to each shoulder and epoxy those on,
file them to shape, but building up each shoulder with epoxy may
suffice. We'll see.
