hahaha yes I hear you there, they are cumbersome to lift, perhaps that is part of the reason they seem so heavy. Yes, 80 lbs seems about correct, at least. To be safe I'll go wuth 100 lbs for shipping purposes. Cheers, Phil

I have a single middle seat. It seems to get heavier every year, but I estimate the total weight for the base and seat is about 80 lbs.
