Ahhh, the beauties of Massachusetts. If your windshield is pitted, cracked or crappy (uncleanable), all one has to do is take their vehicle to the glass replacement shop of their choice (if one have a Vanagon, they can specify darkness of the shade) and get it replaced for FREE. All one has to do is pay the high auto insurance rates in this state. Great.

Also, many have white edges, which is from the plastic sheet laminated between the glass oxidizing. Cosmetic problem, but ugly. If you have a very low mileage van it can still be serviceable though, but most of us don't.
