I just pulled out the SS metal trim insert with a pair of pliers and left the vent window seal in. The slot for the trim almost completely closes up after a few months. Pulled all the oxidized brown plastic trim out of the rest of the window seals too. Easy.

I'm about to attempt to replace the felt seals and scrapers on these windows. Is there anything special to watch out for. I've watched the Go-Westy Youtube on the subject, but is there anything else? I want to do the triangle window seals while I'm at it, and they do not address it! I'm concerned with removing the crappy chrome trim.

Also, I have new sliding side windows to put in. Anybody done a remove/replace job there?

Thanks,

John
