Checking that the shifter linkage is working properly is a great idea but why would the adjustment dimension(s) change for a different engine? I'd think they don't. e.g. the 3x mm space between shift lever ear and point up in the box above spare tire would remain the same. Some engine conversions see the drivetrain lowered a little though I don't think that's done with Bostig. Even so, I don't think doing so would cause any real issue at shift linkage. Neil.
