Nice TableMod ~ But ~ I would be inclined to use something a Bit More Substantial to Reattach the Table to the MountPlate ~

Bottom Hinge, then Reattach the 2 DoorParts Via a PianoHinge on the Inside so that when the Door is Opened the Bottom could be

Folded Up Out Of The Way ~ Frosting on ThatCake is that it Makes Possible the Stowing of the Longer RearTable in that location ~
