Yes the front (dash) socket was the culprit. Made worse because it's cheap
replacement was bad too. Drew lots of current and didn't charge properly.
Final solution was to replace that one with an Ocean Blue item which is
great. The back one hasn't been a problem, but even that is hard to say for
sure as they are both switched now.
