I just retrieved a few out of a spare vent window glass. They are like a lead bottle cap with a hole through it. They look pretty easy to make. But would these parts be peculiar to Vanagons? Are there other cars in the junkyard with the same pieces in the window? Can't think of any other VW of that era with vent windows off the top of my head, but there has to be something. Don't forget that there is a near-but-not-quite round steel washer with a spring to it that is part of the assembly, too. You would need that. All of mine came off in good shape for anyone who is interested, but I don't want to let go of them until I have had a chance to make at least one mold.
