Go Westy has a very nice replacement. Expensive, as you might expect, and currently sold out. Maybe others have it: http://www.gowesty.com/product-details.php?v=&id=3990 My van came with one, and it is very well made. Screen can be replaced easily like any modern window screen, unlike the plastic originals where it was bonded to the frame.

The door seal can be tacked down where needed with 3M Weatherstrip adhesive. The channel should hold most of it in, but there are areas that need the adhesive.

Hi all,

Is there a source for the screens for the passenger side sliding door window screen for an '87 Westy?

Regarding the weatherstripping around the sliding door on the passenger side, would it have been installed with some kind of weatherstripping adhesive or not? Since my van was repainted, mine is loose and keeps wanting to come out and I'm wondering whether I should just tack it in with some 3M weatherstripping adhesive or not.

Thanks, Marc Perdue
