        This is a classic symptom of fuel pressure problem, either the pump or regulator is bad and I don’t care if they are new.  New stuff does not mean they are good.  Most often it’s the regulator.  Squeezing the return line boosts the pressure in the system that’s why it runs fine when you do that.
