So far as fuel hoses go, my rule is to replace as often as needed or at least every 5 yesrs. A routine inspection schedule is a must. These hoses tend to chatter, rubbed, and otherwise worn through at any time. In fact, all hoses should be inspected routinely, regardless of purpose!
