no need for any 'round grab type tool' on the water pump pulley bolts ..
I just use a square shaft large screw driver..
rest the tip against one bolt head, and other part of the square shaft
against yer socket .
LOL !
no, it's MUCH WORSE than it looks !
depending on corrosion and neglect factors, and allen screws that may
strip out ..
it can be a very, very sucky job.
Heck..I got a fabulous 1987 Limited Editon Wolfsburg ( the first Carat ,
but not called that yet ) just because someone busted off bolts no
knowing what they were doing and just being in a hurry, on a water pump
job.
those small oil cooler hoses ..
good idea to replace them, since...they make look easy to replace ..
they aren’t really, buy the time you've undone both ends of both pipes
to deal with the little hoses ..
much worse if AC compressor is fitted .
I just do careful work ..
and ..for me ..that ALWAYS involves doing 'needed stuff' in nearby or
related parts and systems.
It is NEVER 'just the one tired or broken part' in my world.
There is no way that I will come back from a full test drive with fully
bled cooling system,
including testing both heaters, after replacing a 2.1 wbx water pump,
in 3 hours on the clock.
..and I've done it countless times, have tricks and special tools.
have fun tho !

I would replace the 2 hoses to the oil cooler and even the oil cooler to engine gasket while there. It is not as bad as it looks. The job should take about 3 hours for the experienced mechanic.
