I think spring clamps are a silly bother . I think there main purpose is to speed assebmly line production and reduce costs. I generally toss 'em and ..having The Right Tool makes a ton of difference ! like this one ... shoot..was gonna post a link but it got messed up. I like the basic pliers type, with an angle .. generally does the job nicely. Scott
