On the topic of tranny oil coolers for the automatic, has anyone tried the GW cooler...it looks like the same idea we used on the oil system in our off roaders years ago with excellent success when everyone else was blowing up their engines, we were still in the race...LOL On Cofap P&C, I've seen three rebuilds that had to come apart with low compression and oil burning in less than 20K...all were Cofap...having said that I did not take the customers time to measure the old rings...(and with my flame proof suit on)...installed new cast rings and the HD pump and plate pictured earlier in this thread...2 of the 3 worked out excellent...the 3rd one is going to be sold shortly as it's not reliable enough for the "senior interface" to work properly... I say this tongue in cheek as I rebuild a 2.1 in my 89 weekender as a spare...I'm 68, but still enjoying turning wrenches when my back allows... Denny, near Toronto Canada
