As promised, pics of the failing brake backing plates. Not sure how or if this rust affected the show and e-brake adjustment though. Initially, I thought the tack welds at upper spring anchor had failed. Not true. This was the position the upper spring anchor was in when I pulled the drum Wait! Theres more!
