Lately I’ve been using what comes in the Victor Reinz kits and have had no problems. It seems to me that the sealant in these kits is now better than it used to be, but I have no documentation to back that up. In days gone by I would never have used that sealant in those kits as it was well known not to work well. I have also used The Right Stuff and it is probably the best there is. Also, note the preparation of the surfaces is AS important as the sealant. See my “old” notes here: <http://www.frankcondelli.com/gasket.htm>
