Often I don't tighten the negative, only have it pushed on well, so I can take it off anytime I don't use the car for longer time. Z

Thank you for all the responses. I thought two weeks was a short time to hold a charge. The battery is new, and it runs down after two weeks even after a full charge.

I have to make some time and use an multimeter to try to track down the current drain.
