The coolant pipe that crosses over the engine is mounted to the intake runner on one or both sides with a 6 mm stud that's welded onto the runner tube. It will tear out if someone pushes the pipe, leaving a littl tear in the metal. When everything is still the torn-out plug fills the hole and seals it, but when the engine starts it begins to bounce around and leak. Took my mechanic back in '92 months to not find it. I fixed it with a bit of thin rubber sheet, some thin aluminum, and a hose clamp that went around the whole works including the mounting base for the cooling pipe. Worked so well I never bothered to get the stud welded back in.
