Hello Roy,

I replaced my clutch a few years ago. I have a little bit of slippage in third gear when I really get on it. I didn't change my flywheel. I now wish I had changed it. I think that this is my issue.

Also, when I did mine, I was concerned about all of the connections to the engine, as well. So, I supported the engine and removed the transmission. I think it was way easier. But, I have a 2WD. It would probably be more complex in a Syncro (not sure what you have).

My $0.02.

Ken

I know parts quality coming out of China can be hit or miss, are the Chinese Sachs bits of the same calibre as those made at home (Germany)? I have yet to find a Canadian supplier of the Luks clutch kit {Ifve read there are two Luk clutches - a gregularh one and a gheavier" one intended for syncros?} or a Kennedy replacement clutch. >> >> Are there other candidates I should consider?
