I've an idea to double the thickness of the upper bunk but may not be able
to get the covers made with snaps and wondered if anyone has used custom
mattresses with Velcro or without any fasteners at all.

Since I won't be attaching the forward section until after the bunk is
flipped I need to know if Velcro will keep that section in place very well
while in use.
