Yes, The GW HD drums fit with the original wheels steel or alloy. As for drum flex as the drum heats up during extended braking it will expand and as that happens more pedal action is needed to compensate. The thick walls of these drums along with those fins will dissipate heat and reduce that effect. These are also thicker at the wheel flange which helps to prevent distortion that often happens there and moves the wheel out slightly.
