Seriously though, I have what I'd call "pockets" of knowledge. And with wrenching, to a larger degree, I'm self taught. I took very little shop in school. Had a shop teacher, worth his/her weight, seen me hit a sledge with a sledge, I might've gotten a verbal lashing; one I'd remember, for good reason.

At the very least I could've covered the slave hammer head with a couple of rags!

The support is appreciated but from my point of view, not really needed; it was good to point out my mistake. The worst thing would be for someone else to read of my idea, copy it, lose an eye as a result.
