Do you have an aftermarket stereo installed?

If so, they draw a surprising amount of power, even when off.  Try removing the faceplate.  With mine removed, the power draw is 1/10th of what it is with it installed.

that is not normal, for any car really.  something may be draining it or it just isn't holding a charge anymore.
