Here are some pictures of another tire option in this size.

These were just delivered, note the production date 42nd week of 2015. The max inflation pressure is shown as 50 psi. The max weight rating is 1,653 pounds. Note this type of tire reaches the full weight rating at 42 psi. Truck/trailer type tires only meet the max weight ratings at the max inflation pressure due to the increased heating of that type of tire.
So far this tire is being liked for the quiet ride and apparent wet traction. Need more time to see about tire life.

Not a tire thread!
OK recently someone asking specifics about the off brand tires I'd found for my 14" vanagon wheels. I said, "Go Form brand tire type G-520 in
205-70-R14 size." and that I planned buying on another pair, probably just
have my Tire Factory local store get them for me. Someone else opined
that these weren't available and someone else said they were under- strength for our vans...etc etc etc.
Well, I called over to my local Tire Factory store and got one of the tire changers on the desk, not even a real counterman........He took about
2 minutes and said..."We can have them here tomorrow" so I ordered them and they came, just like I said, with "98h load at 44psi max 1675"" just like the last set, though the last set, a year, ago was from Tires Easy.com and they were only $53 each..
I also looked at my GM Safari AWD van's Go Form tires, some I bought this fall, again as an emergency cheapo 'get me to work for a month or two tire"......G 745 in 215-70 R 15....They, too, have a 98 load range and max at 44psi with a #7500 max....so those are actually right for my GM van, too....it weighs about what a sycnro does ....So you who've swapped over to
15" wheels might look, too. They worked great, good traction good wear,
good ride,great price.
