Thanks gentlemen Yes. Wire corrosion has caused a coule issues on my 88 recently. Main wire to starter and short portion of brown wire from high pressure oil switch. It seems that was what caused the oil buzzer and light to come on. That wire was indeed blackish and getting brittle.
