Sounds like an electrical problem, most likely. But the two things needed are spark and fuel.

Check for spark by loosing a plug wire and hold it close to ground, turn the motor, and watch for a spark. This is the quickest way to test for spark. If good, next suspect a fueling problem.

The fuel system holds at 30 psi. Loosen the screw on the "T" where fuel line splits to fuel the right and left side if the engine. Just watch for fuel coming out there. If the pump isn't running there won't be much of a fuel loss. If it if running, there will be continuous pressure that will cause it to continue to leak steadily. Doesn't take but moments to test this. If the test indicates the pump is good, look elsewhere for the problem.

I will say this. In my experience, the ECU can be alive one minute and dead the next. If it's dead, you get nothing also.

My van was running fine, then the next morning it would turn over and not start. I didn't hear the fuel pump priming when I turned the key, and swapping the relays did nothing. Because the fuel pump looked original, I swapped in a new one, but still no start. And still no sound from the fuel pump. Where should I look next?
