No doubt. Even moving a shoe or shoes up/down a couple mm's makes a
fair difference
to measurement at outside of shoe.
What I meant was, looking from a birds eye POV (down at shoes), the
outer dimension at edge closest to the backing plate is greater than
edge nearest drum.
If that makes sense.
