We shipped our Westy over last year. Our friend traveling with us sent his Syncro over last month. There are various companies who offer this service from ports on both coasts of the North America. I won't recommend any one company but I will suggest getting quotes from several. The companies you need to deal with are middle men and they arrange things for you with the actual ship company and US customs. Then you need to deal with another middle man at the other end, to get it through local customs in whatever port you send it to. It isn't very complicated if you follow their instructions and have patience at the other end for things to work themselves out. I am talking only about you as a tourist shipping your own vehicle over to use while you are there. It needs to be titled in your name, for a while, and you need to get European liability insurance for it before you can pick it up. Mark |
