You really need to give more time for the shoes to seat fully. The front shoes will wear more. The shoes also look like the drum may have a taper to the surface.

Hi all. Two images of new shoes after less than 50 miles. https://picasaweb.google.com/musomuso/RearBrakes#6290623520228348306 Is this initial wear abnormal? i don't feel any pulsing or vibration at pedal. No shims were installed at lower pins. 3/4 shoes shoe wear along nearly the entire shoe. The lead (forward) shoes show the more complete contact. Neil
