For sure. Will let them seat. Just checked to make sure the linings weren't glazing. I measured one drum and can't see any difference or taper in ID but then if they're tapered, this may not be measurable with a brake resetting tool? However. The outer dimension of shoes is greater at inner edge near plate; I have to wonder if the edge of the shoe bracket is pushing the shoes out at an angle. I found it interesting that the new backplates don't c/w the dowel at lower anchor piece. I put the old dowels back in today.
