Hi Denis,

Sorry to hear about your water issues.

I also use my water supply in the van for drinking water.

I believe I follow the recommendations given me from this list.

Each fall I drain the tank and dry as completely as possible.

In the spring I let out any condensation that built up and since.

I then fill the tank and add a cup of bleach. I then run the water into the sink to pull the bleach through the lines. I then have the van driven to splash the water around a bit. I then drain and rinse again. run through the lines

And I then use the water for the season.

No problems for me in three years.

Eric

. What is a correct procedure to clean the onboard water supply to the sink faucet which I use as drinking water also. I came down with something as we traveled through Ontario camping. I think I did this wrong. In fact I may not have done anything with the water only filling it up trying to get out of town, ugh! Had to cut our planned trip short. Is there a water filter that's recommended to use while using a camp ground water supply? Dennis J
