I have a question about starter solenoid wiring on an '86 AT full Westy. This has air conditioning but does not have an auxiliary battery. The #50 terminal on the starter solenoid has two wires connected to its electrically identical twin push on spade connectors. One is a Red w/Black stripe large (6.0) wire that supplies current directly from the ignition switch ST terminal. The other is a Red w/White stripe of somewhat smaller size that I can't find in the wiring diagram. Does anyone know what this does?
This question is, of course, about original wiring and not an added auxiliary load reduction relay. Also, It not about the battery cable or the large (6.0) Red wire connecting to the B+ alternator terminal.
Thanks, Ed |
