Posting Stephanie's heartfelt message about Karl's critical heath issues and decline in strength..
This thing called life is not over until it is over. As long as Karl has breath and a heart beat… Go Karl!

Karl, as Frank C posted, one of the good guys…
Yeah but!  Shoot, who's met a vanagon driver who didn't have at least one redeeming feature or attitude?
Karl was the exception in humour and value… Cranky and impatient perhaps, while always insightful is MHO.

Pains me to say good bye to another Vanagon friend.
Many have posted eloquent notes which I read in earnest and thank the posters…
Most I can say through the tears: see you in Vanagon heaven Karl…
Keep your fuel lines changed until we meet again.
