OK – lifters still very noisy. Lowered the oils level as advised. Drove around a bit today and they did quiet down to normal. Sat for a few hours then as I started it up the lifters were going crazy again! I did find a slightly bent push rod tube on the intake valve of # 3 cylinder – I straightened it as much as I could. Any advice is appreciated!! Do lifters eventually go bad? Over 100,000 miles on them by now!
