I just picked up a non-running (engine is out) Westy in Michigan. In the past I've had very mixed experience with shippers, sometimes losing things (like the whole fiberglass canopy off my Doka!) to smashing the whole roof off a customer's Syncro Westy. I've tried U-ship lately and rarely even get a reasonable bid. Perhaps these companies are getting greedier, I'm not sure what the deal is. So, could someone recommend a reliable shipper, especially small-time 2 or 3-car-carrier types? I need to drag it out to central Oregon, near Bend, where my shop is now. Thanks, Karl |
