During heavy acceleration going into 3rd at 45 mph is a bit early. Test the kick down function. Up shift should be delayed until just over 5,000 rpm. Get the Bentley and follow the instructions for stall testing the torque converter. Poor acceleration is often due to a bad converter or engine performance problem. The adjustment of the rod between the transmission and throttle is critical for proper shift points and the kick down function. Dennis
