Karl, my apologies. I DID get the adapter from you. I later found it on VC. The mechanic that instaled it for me along with the starter was really impressed with the adaptation and the fit. Commented two or three times on it. Said too many times he's asked to install stuff that is half-@**ed. This was a perfict fit. Has worked beautifully ever since. Highly recommend it.

For those that don't know, this is a modification for now, that readys one for a Subaru engine later.

FYI, the diesel adaptor you bought was one of mine, Westy Ventures made, sold through other vendors I supply. :) The new starters sold by Latrical (ebay, Amazon) seem to be decent quality and offer more torque and faster crank than the IMI, sold by GW and also Van Cafe - which are not rebuildable.
