Exactly, Jeff. Other folks have said, why spend the $50k a new VW California Beach would cost (if and when they come to North America), when you buy (name of Sprinter based RV), but none of them fit in my garage, or could I see using for doing weekday errands (take the son to choir, pick up lumber at Home Hardware) the way my Vanagon Weekender does.

And speaking about the VW California, we went to a local "Classic Car Cruise Night" on Friday. Had another two offers to buy the Vanagon - and one of them was somebody who knew all about the VW California, and would lay out the $50k for one, IF they were available in Canada!

VW is missing a market, for sure. In the meantime, we'll just keep rebuilding our 'old iron'.
