Another thing I have noticed much more over the last few years is swelling inside the brake flex lines...I first noticed this when bleeding brakes the old fashioned pump, pump, hold method with a helper...
Particularly with front calipers, when you see only a dribble coming out of the bleed screw instead of a good squirt...I replace both front flex hoses at the same time to make caliper pressure the same on both calipers and avoid "pulling" in one direction or the other...the part is less than $15 for name brand, and the change is pretty surprising...IMHO
