That 78 Beetle fuel injection is the same as the Vanagon except you still have points and condenser for the ignition and injector trigger and the O2 sensor system does not exist. Even uses the same fuel pump and operates at the same fuel pressure.

This group helped me save Velma from being scrap iron, love you all for it! I've been building Velma for adventures with my daughter because she fell in love with her when she was 4, she's now 10 while having many great adventures with many more planned. Because of Velma and the Omaha VW Club show and shine/camp out a year ago I found my girlfriend after 8 yrs of a full time single dad. She owns a 78 convertible super beetle, and now I have to learn the fuel injection system.
