My '88 Westy was going through oil faster than it should have. New flywheel O ring and crank main seal fixed that. 1000 + KM trip, oil level didn't change much if at all. I didn't need to add oil in spite of a remaining **slow** drip at the drain plug. (OEM threads in hole are damaged. Different plug installed)

Neil.
