I already replaced mine, but I wasn't aware of a way to get those
original speakers out without taking the panel off. Stuart's idea is
brilliant, but it leaves the back piece behind the panel. Not a
problem if you don't care about that, but I think it might rattle
around in there. In my case, it would make it hard to fit my 4"
Blaupunkt Blue Magic CL100 replacement speakers in the hole. These
speakers sound great, by the way, very efficient, like the originals
were in their day. They do require different window cranks, unless you
have power windows (jealous...)
