Hi folks,

        well the good energy of this vW Bus group both on and off list just keeps on being strong.  I appreciate you folks and as a team my bus keeps getting healthier.

I heard a vanagon drive in to my yard this afternoon and in moments a friend installed a originalVW blue cap on my van.  He had just come across a new one for himself and put his known good one on my tank to see if that resolves my air issue.  while discussing the van I showed him my new gates belt recommended by Dennis,H. and in ten minutes he had it installed, and    sure enough no more chirping at start up.

        Only problem is he did it so fast I could not learn from the process.  In the time i gathered the tools for him then got the keys he was done.

Also, Jim Felder thanks for the small hard to find part you sent  me for a Westy owner needing it.  I hope to surprise him with it soon.

Now with my new house battery set up I’m more then ever ready for the summer adventures.
