I have been told that if the refrigerator is hard to light, and especially if it goes out easily during use (blows out?), the flue leaks. If so, it might not be safe to use (while sleeping for example) because flue gases could be leaking into the cabin. But if warming it up on AC or with the stove burners on briefly works, that probably isn't the cause. I have also blown into the drain tube (attaching a hose), but have never attempted to draw air from the tube first.
