Ah... I simply meant it as a reminder of all the posts we see about a treasured Westy going up in flames at the side of the road. With all the love going into restoring this one imagine how I'd feel if she went up in flames because of something like that. The fuel lines are a perfect place to start to avoid it! Having a diesel engine helps too so put a conversion on your list ;) I'll let others weigh in. Everything I've read says if you're fuel lines are of unknown age replace them.
