Would someone advise on how to best remove the passenger rear curtain 'rod' in my '90 Westy WITH AirCon? It seems the only option is to drop the AC cover/unit and I'd like to know what I'm getting myself into if so.

Does a lot of the AC until drop down with the bottom cover if I remove the two large phillips bolts or just the cover itself. I just need access to the rear most rod fastener to remove the rod itself. :-/
