Dennis can chime in on this, but I think the only way to do it properly is to drain, remove each nut one at a time, clean it, the stud, and the head mating surface, apply sealant, replace nut and re-torque. I would think you would risk breaking the seal between the nut and head by just wrenching it tighter, not to mention getting the wrong torque since the nut is not lubricated by the sealant.

Hi all

I'm searching but don't see a clear direction on this. For checking, re-torquing WBX head nuts (I think it's the first one):

- in Bentley torque sequence, check torque of each nut, re-torque as needed? Or,

- drain coolant, remove - install each nut one at at time in reverse order, apply new sealant at each nut?

Thanks

Neil.
