The usual cause for low oil pressure is the case wearing and pounding out more than bearings themselves. Your oil pressure at idle is not that bad for a hot engine. The lack of oil pressure increase with speed indicates excessive leakage, bad pump, or clogged pump inlet screen. I would first try installing a pump with 30 mm gears. Job will take about 4 hours and there are kits with cover and bolts. Another possibility is that your pump is installed with the wrong cover gasket. I don't use any gasket and seal the cover with loctite 518.

Another problem is excessive oil temperature. Get an oil temp gauge to determine the need for supplemental oil cooling. The 2.1 has an oil to coolant heat exchanger for a reason.

I knew the day was coming…so, the flickering oil light didn’t go away with SAE40 oil (avg temps have been ~90 every day since my flicker started), stretched spring, blah blah blah…

So I did the unthinkable and bought an oil pressure tester…my woes have been confirmed with ~6-7 PSI @~850 RPM and about 16 PSI @ ~2K RPM…you all know the drill I am sure…

My question is…next steps?

I was thinking of inspecting the oil pump first and then go from there…

Thanks for any input…
