Thanks Ken. There is something the that is definitely not right - maybe on both vans.

On the '88 the fan comes on, but in high speed mode. It cycles like it should.

On the Carat, the fan simply doesn't come on. Fan works fine for the engine since replacing the switch on the lower left of the radiator, but doesn't work at all for the AC.

I have to replace th receiver dryer and need to flush the system. What do you recommend to flush it with?
